Mandurah, day 1

We had a good flight with great seats in an exit row far away from the toilets!
Easily picked up the car and headed out for lunch before picking up the skis.
After loading the skis with Paula and Bruce we set off for Mandurah which is about 100km south of Perth.
Along the highway we passed another car with skis on the roof. He was stopped and seemed to be in trouble. We stopped and turns out it was Wilko, he needed more rope and Bruce had some in his bag.
Looks like we are in the desert!

Mandurah is a sleepy holiday village on the mouth of a river where there seems to be an enormous number if tattoo parlours as the locals have taken to decorating their bodies in a big way!
Staying in cute holiday cabins just by the water.

Setting up boats and heading out from the local beach. The ocean is about 1km around the corner.
A dolphin swam under Neil's boat just at the end of the sea wall.

Today they will take a run down the coast, we can read, swim, talk ... Paddle ... And just enjoy a holiday.
